The Northern New Mexico STEM Mentor Collective, the Española Tech Hub, the New Mexico Supercomputing Challenge and the Math Circles Collaborative of New Mexico are partnering to conduct the 2017 Summer Math Teacher Institute, July 10-19, 2017, at Northern New Mexico College.
The curriculum for this workshop will include math circles work for teachers, computational activities from the Missing "M" curriculum, an introduction to Julia Robinson Math Festivals, and a practicum in which teachers will lead math circle activities for students in the summer STEM camp. We will also give a brief preview of this fall's Global Math Week.
